The HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial (also labeled as HGTWFM #03 or HGTWFM XVX-016 Gundam Aerial) is a High Grade plastic model kit released by Bandai Spirits on October 1, 2022. It is from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, faithfully recreating Suletta Mercury’s personal XVX-016 Gundam Aerial.

This snap-fit kit (no glue required) features pre-colored parts for a clean anime-accurate finish with sharp panel lines and excellent color separation. It stands approximately 12.5 cm (about 4.9 inches) tall when assembled, delivering the distinctive slim yet powerful proportions of the Aerial.

Key Features & Armaments

• GUND-Bit Shield System — The highlight of the kit! The large shield can be separated into 11 individual GUND-Bits. These bits can be attached all over the body for enhanced mobility/defense or displayed separately for dramatic remote weapon poses.
• Permet Score Reproduction — Includes clear shell unit parts and double-sided stickers that allow you to build both “inactive” and glowing “active” Permet Score appearances.
• Weapons:
  • Beam Rifle — Detailed main ranged weapon with clean molding.
  • 2x Beam Sabers — Includes clear effect parts for slashing poses.
  • GUND-Bit Shield — Can be used as a unified large shield or deployed as individual bits.
• Articulation — Excellent poseability with smooth joints, flexible torso, and wide range of motion. Supports dynamic aerial combat poses and bit deployment stances.
• Details — Sharp panel lines, mechanical sculpting, and beautiful clear parts for the shell units. Strong multi-color molding minimizes the need for painting.
