The HG 1/144 MS-06S Char's Zaku II (GQ) (also labeled as HGGQ #10 or HG Gundam GQuuuuuuX Char's Zaku GQ) is a High Grade plastic model kit released by Bandai Spirits in August 2025 (August 9 in Japan, with international stock following shortly after). It is from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (G-X), recreating a custom/refitted Char's Zaku II — the red Comet's personal high-performance Zaku tuned specifically for Char Aznable's use in the alternate timeline of GQuuuuuuX.

This snap-fit kit (no glue required) features pre-colored parts for a striking, anime-accurate finish (deep red with gold accents, black/gray details, and Char-specific markings), sharp molding with the latest HG techniques, and excellent articulation for dynamic poses. It stands approximately 12-13 cm (about 5 inches) tall when assembled, with a balanced, iconic Zaku silhouette — making it a compact yet highly displayable piece in any GQuuuuuuX or Char Aznable collection.

Key Features & Armaments

• Char's Custom Color Scheme — Faithful deep red with gold shoulder spikes, antenna, and custom markings; strong pre-molded color separation for clean, vibrant results.
• High-Performance Upgrades — Enhanced thrusters, improved joint range, and refined proportions compared to standard MS-06F Zaku II — reflects Char's ace-pilot modifications in GQuuuuuuX.
• Weapons:
  • 120mm Zaku Machine Gun — Detailed with posable magazine and grip; can be handheld or slung.
  • Heat Hawk — Melee axe with posable handle for dramatic swings.
  • Bazooka — Optional 280mm bazooka with clip and detailed barrel; posable for shoulder or hand mounting.
  • Cracker Grenades — Stored on belt/hip; posable for throwing effect.
• Articulation — High mobility: ball-jointed shoulders/elbows/hips, double-joint knees, flexible wrists/ankles, and movable skirt armor — supports aggressive combat poses, rifle barrages, or axe strikes.
• Manipulators — Multiple hand parts (fists, weapon-holding, trigger fingers) for versatile gripping.
• Details — Sharp panel lines, thrusters on backpack/legs, mono-eye head with articulation, and gold commander antenna; foil stickers for markings/accents (panel lining enhances the elite ace look).
