Follow these quick steps

Step 1:
Make a customer account on our website gtgames.ca.

Login To Your Account

Step 2: 
Video games, please use our online buylist tool to enter your games and submit a buylist. We only accept loose game cartridges, or games which are considered Complete-in-Box (CIB). Consoles and accessories must be brought or shipped to the store for an in-person trade-in assessment.

Pokemon & magic cards, please use our online buylist tool to enter your cards and submit a buylist before shipping.

**Please note, we do not accept buylists for cards until 1 week AFTER the official release date. This includes any card sets still within a "pre-release" window.

Step 3:
Ship your items to our store for processing. Sellers are responsible for shipping costs. Local drop-offs are also accepted.

Ensure all packages include a printed or hand written paper with the following information: NAME, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, CASH OR STORE CREDIT.

** Buylists are subject to a 15% sorting fee if provided "out of order". Please ensure collections arrive to GT Games in the same order they were originally submitted in your buylist.

What's next?

Once items have been shipped to GT Games, all you need to do is wait for our team to receive the shipment and start processing your trade.

We will verify the condition, accuracy, and current value of items traded in. Once processed, you will receive a notification if items have been accepted or need an adjustment. This process usually takes between 1 and 3 weeks from the time of shipping.

Once confirmed, we will either process a cash payout or apply a 30% bonus to store credit onto your customer account depending on your indicated preference!

Buylist Terms of Service

Selling to GT Games

All card trades must be submitted through the GT Games website using our Buylist tool.

Start by selecting the appropriate trading card game category for the cards you wish to sell. You can search for specific cards using the search bar or narrow results using filters. 

Each card will display our current buy price. Once you find your card, enter the quantity you’d like to sell and click “Add to Buylist.” You may also select the card condition to view estimated pricing, however final condition assessment will be determined by our team upon review.

You can adjust quantities or remove items from your buylist at any time. When you're ready, review your submission and proceed to checkout.

Submitting Your Buylist

Before submitting your buylist, please organize your cards in the exact order shown on your checkout page and confirmation email. 

Be sure to: 
- Double-check all submitted information, especially your email address 
- Keep your cards sorted and ready for quick verification
- Retain your buylist confirmation for reference

If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact us at info@gtgames.ca. 

Drop-Off or Shipping Options

You can choose how to submit your cards:

In-Store Drop-Off
Once your buylist is submitted, you can drop off your cards anytime during store hours at one of our retail locations.

No approval email is required for in-store submissions.

Mail-In Submission
If mailing your cards, your buylist must be approved before shipping. Approval is typically sent within 48 hours. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us.

Receiving Payment
We offer multiple payout options:
Cash or e-TransferStore Credit (recommended for best value)

Payments are typically issued within 1–2 business days after your buylist has been processed. 

Once we receive your cards, we will: Verify condition, quantity, and versions. Adjust pricing if needed. Contact you if there are major discrepancies. Issue payment based on your selected method. 

Please ensure your contact details are accurate to avoid delays

Policies
All buylist submissions are subject to the following:
Minimum buylist total: $10CAD
You must be 18 years or older, or have a parent/guardian complete the transaction
Prices are subject to change at any time
Final pricing is determined after physical inspection
GT Games reserves the right to refuse or limit purchases at any time
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the sender
Cards must be properly sorted — unsorted submissions may incur a 15% sorting fee
Any discrepancies (condition, version, quantity) will result in adjusted payouts
Major discrepancies (over 10% or $100) will be confirmed with you before processing

Bulk Cards
Unlisted cards (Near Mint, English only) may be sold as bulk.

Deductions & Adjustments
When processing your buylist, we may identify differences between submitted and received cards.

If adjustments are required:
Minor changes will be processed automatically
Major changes will be confirmed with you first
You may request cards to be returned (shipping fees apply)
If we do not receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, we may proceed with the adjusted offer.
Once payment is issued, all items become the property of GT Games.

Shipping Instructions
If mailing your buylist:
Sort cards exactly as shown in your confirmation
Remove unnecessary packaging (binders, excess sleeves, etc.)
Include your name and buylist ID inside the package
Clearly write your buylist ID on the outside
